Secure account access
Multi-factor authentication is required for account setup, new devices, password recovery, remote access and account or payment changes.
WRK Smart security standard
Smart-home security should reassure you without interrupting every light, blind or heating change. WRK Smart separates everyday in-home control from higher-risk account, remote and security actions.
Secure access
Multi-factor authentication is appropriate for a domestic service—but it should protect risky moments, not appear every time somebody turns on a light.
Multi-factor authentication is required for account setup, new devices, password recovery, remote access and account or payment changes.
Trusted phones and the fixed home panel stay convenient for routine controls. A PIN, biometric or step-up check protects sensitive actions.
Each controller is bound to one licensed property. Owners, household members, guests, installers and support staff receive only the access they need.
Remote service uses encrypted, outbound connections. We do not require customers to expose the controller through open inbound ports.
Updates are planned and recorded. Hardware is selected with a declared support period, secure-update route and vulnerability contact.
Camera recordings stay with the customer’s recorder or chosen camera service unless a different arrangement is explicitly agreed.
When WRK helps
There is no shared household password and no permanent support back door. The production support process is designed around explicit approval, least privilege and a complete record.
Independent assurance and clear scope
Security depends on the controller, app, property network, connected manufacturers and the people operating the service. We state clearly what is certified and what must be verified for each installation.

The certification applies to JDNetworks Ltd’s organisational cyber controls. It is not a certification of every third-party product or of the WRK Smart product itself.
Verify the certificateUnique device credentials—no universal default password
A published route for reporting vulnerabilities
A declared security-support period for supplied hardware
Encrypted data in transit and protected stored data
Documented access, update, backup and incident procedures
A property-specific privacy and security schedule
Current status: this page defines the security standard for the production WRK Smart service. Only controls that have passed implementation and operational testing will be presented as live at customer activation.
